The Melanoma & Skin Cancer Institute Adds Dr. Sertich, Expands Clinical Trial Access
The Melanoma & Skin Cancer Institute, a Denver-based clinic providing expert care and clinical trial access for melanoma and other skin cancers to clients across the country, is expanding patient access with Dr. Sarah Sertich joining the team.
Dr. Sertich, who will be working with her own patients as well as collaborating in the Institute’s tumor conference process, is excited to bring her passion and expertise in treating patients with skin cancers home to Colorado, where she graduated medical school at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
One of the most significant impacts of Dr. Sertich’s addition to the team is the ability to expand clinical trial access at the Institute, where clinical trials are an essential component of anti-cancer care.
The Melanoma & Skin Cancer Institute offers clinical trials on a regular basis and welcomes patients from across the country, providing access to potentially life-saving treatment above and beyond the standard of care that are often only available in a handful of states.
Expanding capacity for clinical trials in addition to partnering with XCancer to deliver trials will mean more access to these life-saving treatments, and clinical case studies that can move the standard of care forward.
